With whom do you work?

What are your fees?
Sessions are approximately 55 minutes.
Longer sessions may be arranged when clinically appropriate or requested in advance.
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly and am considered an out-of-network provider.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your benefits.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards, including HSA and FSA cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or schedule changes must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, including no-shows, are billed at the full session fee.
I understand that life happens. One late cancellation due to illness or emergency may be waived in a six-month period.
How do I know if I need therapy?
Not everyone needs therapy, but many people benefit from it.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you’ve been trying to change on your own, or simply want support navigating life with more clarity and intention, therapy can be helpful.
How is therapy different from just talking to a friend or family member?
A therapist offers a different kind of support than friends or family.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I’ve completed years of advanced training and thousands of clinical hours focused on human behavior, emotional patterns, and relational dynamics. My role is to help you see things clearly, explore patterns with curiosity, and make meaningful shifts.
Friends and family care deeply, but they also have their own perspectives, hopes, and reactions, which can make it harder for them to stay neutral or fully objective. They may want to protect you, agree with you, or avoid saying things that might be hard to hear.
Therapy gives you a confidential space with someone who is trained to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and support your growth without personal bias. Many people find it easier to talk openly with someone outside their day-to-day life.
What type of therapy do you practice?
I blend Solution-Focused Therapy with an Existential approach.
Solution-Focused work provides structure, clarity, and actionable steps. Existential therapy brings depth, supporting you in exploring meaning, identity, values, and what truly matters to you.
In practice, this means our work together is:
-
strengths-based
-
present and future focused
-
action-oriented
-
grounded in values, meaning, and authenticity
Alongside evidence-based practices, I emphasize self-trust, emotional resilience, and living in alignment with your inner truth. This work helps you build clarity, confidence, and a grounded sense of who you are and how you want to move through life.
I tailor the process to your personality, history, and goals so the work feels relevant, practical, and supportive of your growth.
What will the first session be like?
During our first session, we will explore what is bringing you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and how you will recognize progress. This time is for you to share at your own pace and begin clarifying what feels most important right now.
It’s normal not to know where to start. You may have a lot on your mind or feel unsure how to put things into words. I take in information quickly and can help you organize what you are experiencing and identify where to begin. If you feel stuck, I will guide the process.
If we both feel it is a good fit after this initial session, we will move forward with ongoing work together.
How long will I need to be in therapy?
Therapy is meant to facilitate your growth, not create reliance. My focus is helping you develop the clarity, tools, and self-trust to navigate life independently, so you feel confident and grounded as you move forward. You will know when our work feels complete.
What is your educational background, credentials, training?
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mount St. Mary’s University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I am licensed in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #97501) and am qualified to provide clinical supervision to associate therapists.
Prior to licensure, I completed over 3,000 hours of clinical training across inpatient, outpatient, and nonprofit settings. I have been in practice for over 15 years.
I am a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chapter, representing pre-licensed therapists.
I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development through continuing education, consultation, conferences, and ongoing study.
