People make efforts to show support, but may come across as insensitive. Friends can go silent when you need them most. Even when people are there for you, at some point the phone hangs up, the video chat ends, and people go home to resume their lives.

Grief is a deeply emotional process. Since emotions are intangible and often hard to understand, it’s natural that people ignore them.
Instead, they take refuge in many distractions like numbing with food, substances, media, or spending… or staying busy with work or friends.
But pretending you’re fine only works for so long.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone.
You could easily find yourself suffering in silence, but you don’t have to.
Grief is the respect we give to the love we had for someone or something in our lives. You have a right to grieve, and it’s time to give your grief the respect it deserves.
My personal and professional experience, along with my specialized training in grief and loss, has allowed me to guide people through the darkest periods of their lives.
For many years, I had the privilege of supporting grieving individuals, couples, children, and families who had experienced the death of a loved one. In my work with clients, I found that grief was never just about death itself; it was compounded by the grief of many different losses throughout life.
Throughout my career, loss was the uniting struggle for all my clients. Everyone experienced grief in response to a change in their lives. Some of these were tangible, such as the death of a loved one or estrangement. Others were less tangible, such as the loss of identity or safety. Despite the prevalence of grief and loss in our society, I always found that the resources and support were lacking, which inspired me to continue supporting clients in this specialty.
